What a docile chart this week, but no, it isn't an April Fool's chart - it's real! APRIL F...... okay, not really - I'm not five anymore Carly Rae Jepsen is certainly no fool, holding onto the top notch for her 8th non-consecutive week with the infectious "Call Me Maybe", and I've also learned she's hit the number 1 spot here in Australia! Woooo! I KNEW that song was gunna be big .fun are held off but holding strong in at 2 with 'We Are Young", as are 1D and Emeli Sande. Studio Killers and Gotye.Kimbra edge out Darren Hayes to each climb a spot. No changes in the top 10 this week (that's a first! haha) but both singles from Kelly in my chart make a surge for it. Rest of the chart is shifters and shakers, as usual, but special mention should go to The Jezabels, who not only have their first single to hit my chart, but are into the top 50 this week, with "Rosebud." Kiwi Chris Rein is also hot on their heels, with his awesome track, "Young Homie". Highest debut of the week is way down at 92, and it goes to the beautiful Delta Goodrem, in with 'Sitting On Top Of The World", which is surely to climb up the ladder in the coming weeks.
