Matt's Top 100 - April 30th, 2012

So it has come to my attention that I happen to post my personal chart around the same time that the previous week's Globalchart is uploaded, which in turn confuzzle's our fantastic compiler of said chart
Just for the tip - this chart is for next week's Globalchart, not the one that I can see is already posted up Bit confused about the confusion, but oh wells, I hope all sorts itself out.
So anyway, onto the chart.

Well, I would talk about this week's chart, but it's rather boring as batsh*t (guess the vowel competition-time!), so I'll just post up the chart for you all to have a squizz at instead, if you so desire to do so

May or may not have a late-chart contribution next week, as I'm off to Van Diemen's Land for a week That is Tasmania for all you geographical-limited peeps i may freeze my butt off down there, as it's near Antarctica, so think of me and send warm thoughts

Top 100 Songs - April 23rd, 2012

So, every so often you I come across a song, usually by accident or because a friend posted a link somewhere, and I listen to it, and I think "Wow, not bad, not bad at all" *strokes non-existent beard*. I then, accidently on purpose, repeat that song 20 times in a row and get my close friends all hooked on it as well. It happened with Carly Rae Jepsen back in December when I first debuted the song on my personal chart (and as you can see, who is still in the top spot?).

It's happened again with a happy dancey, dare I say it, gay-as-all-hell track entitled "#TOTDF" by Jonny McGovern. I seriously can't stop replaying this tune, to the point where it may become one of those songs that leaves the chart very quickly because it's been played to death. I was surprised when I heard it because normally Jonny's songs are so crude and inappropriate beyond belief. I mean, this one still is, but it's waaaaaay tamer.
But so far, so good, and it enters my chart with a bullet-debut into the 4th spot. Aussie girls Ricki-Lee and Delta hold him off in postions 2 and 3 respectively.
Reba makes a return to the Top 10, spurred by her performance as part of a various artists debut further down the chart.

Another relatively high debut this week is Azealia Banks with a *gasp* RAP song getting stuck in my head, although if you ask me what the heck the song is about, I really couldn't tell you! I'm still struggling to understand even two lines from the song

Carrie, Darren, J-Lo and *ahem* yes, I admit it I am a fan, Reece, all make massive jumps on the chart just to impress the artists around them.

I've rambled on enough for another week - couple more newbies on the chart this week, take a look, or don't - either way, I'm just happy my number 1 knocked off that God-awful-band-Train down a pozzie on the GlobalChart this week
